G.F.G.C. Nagamangala Library:
Government First Grade College, Nagamangala was established in the year 2007. The college offers B.A, B.COM and B.B.M courses. It is affiliated to University of Mysore. More than 800 students are studying in the college and most of the students are from rural area. The college has good library and information center. The main objective of the library is ‘to support staff and students of B.A, B.COM and BBA and development of academic activities and management with the view to provide up-to-date knowledge'. The library caters to the needs of 800+ readers. The Library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book materials.

Library has developed an excellent collection of books, journals and non-book materials. At present library has 10046 books, 03 Journals , 21 CDS, 64 Mps, 08 magazines and 10 daily news papers.
To provide effective service to the readers the library is automated by using E-Granthalaya software. Using OPAC Modules, users can search the library online catalogue by author, title subject, publishers and key words. Bar-coded system has been adopted for Circulation
The library has also developed its own website http://gfgcnagamangalalibrary.weebly.com .
It also became a member to access INFLIBNET-N-LIST E-Resources through UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium. The library is providing qualitative services to the students and faculties by fulfilling the user needs to achieve academic excellence.
The best practices adopted by the College library is appreciated by LIC Team , University of Mysore and NAAC Peer team Visited in 2016.
